Good cleansing is necessary for a working skincare routine. Sonya™ refining gel cleanser is suitable for all ages and all skin types – and is particularly good for combination skin. Combination skin can feel dry at times, greasy at others, and sometimes none of the above. Many people who do not identify with any particular skin condition, or who think of their skin as ‘normal’ actually have combination skin.

With natural cleansers
Sonya™ refreshing gel cleanser contains various cleansers that also condition your skin, such as coconut and gypsophila, as well as two new acquaintances. Acacia concinna is an Asian variety of acacia with a long tradition of mild, pH-balanced cleansing, partly in the form of the hair-washing powder shikakai. Balanites aegyptiaca originates from Africa and the Middle East and is known as the desert date – but also soap berry which is perhaps more appropriate as this fruit contains naturally foaming saponins.
Takes good care of your skin
Sonya™ refreshing gel cleanser also contains plenty of conditioning, softening ingredients, including baobab seed oil which is a popular beauty ingredient. The baobab tree is also known as the monkey bread tree and grows on the African savannah. A baobab tree can live to over 500 years and is called the tree of life by local people. There are also skin conditioning amino acids from coconut and apple, as well as caprylyl glycol which helps the skin to retain its moisture. Sonya™ refreshing gel cleanser is also enriched with the antioxidant hydroxyacetophenone and conditioning vitamin C.
