The product also contains folic acid which is particularly important for women who might fall pregnant, since it is needed for proper fetal development. This is because folic acid contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy, and to normal blood formation. Iron is also of great importance for the circulation since it contributes to normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin. Iron also contributes to normal oxygen transport in the body.
Metabolism and nervous system
