Honey through history
Since the dawn of time, people all over the world have loved honey. The oldest evidence is a cave painting in Spain, more than 8,000 years old, depicting a person harvesting from a wild beehive. All cultures seem to have used honey and admired the bees’ ability to bring nectar back to the hive and transform it into one of our most natural foods.

Honey of the highest class
Spain is one of Europe’s largest honey producers, and particularly sought-after is the honey from the mountainous regions of Northern Spain. Due to its high fructose content, honey has a lower glucose content than regular sugar. This makes it a better choice as a sweetener in drinks and baking. When using honey in tea or other hot beverages, remember that high temperatures above 40°C will destroy the enzymes in the honey.
