Water- and fat-soluble vitamins
Vitamins are either water-soluble or fat-soluble. Looking at the names, you might think it’s about how you should take them, but the difference is actually in how the body deals with them. Water-soluble vitamins are not stored in your body, and what your body doesn’t need goes out in your sweat or urine. All B vitamins and vitamin C are water-soluble. Vitamins A, D, E and K, however, are fat-soluble. This means your body stores them in its fatty tissues and releases them as required.
Vitamin D
Vitamin D3 is the vitamin D that forms in your skin when you spend time in the sun. You can also get vitamin D3 by eating fish, meat and eggs, for example. In Forever Absorbent-D, sheep’s wool is the source of vitamin D3. Vitamin D contributes to the maintenance of normal muscle function, the normal function of the immune system, and the normal absorption of calcium and phosphorus, for example.
Antioxidants
As well as vitamin D, Forever Absorbent-D also contains vitamin E. Vitamin E is an antioxidant that contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Like vitamin D, it is a fat-soluble vitamin.

Forever Absorbent-D is a really tasty little treat – and we have the prickly pear to thank for that. It tastes like a combination of melon, raspberry and strawberry. The fruit also gives the tablet its bright pink colour.
