Carefully selected ingredients

The ingredients in smoothing exfoliator are effective yet gentle on the sensitive facial skin. Our Aloe vera is the main ingredient. Just like grape juice extract and lemon, it conditions your skin– but it is also moisturizing, softening and is nicely cooling on the skin.

Chemical and mechanical exfoliation

Papain is an enzyme extracted from papaya, and bromelain is an enzyme taken from pineapple. They condition the skin and are mild chemical exfoliants that gently dissolve dead skin cells from the skin’s surface. Sodium lactate, the salt of lactic acid which occurs naturally in the skin, has a high water holding capacity, which means it is a humectant wile it also exfoliates. Round jojoba beads and bamboo powder provide gentle mechanical exfoliation which acts on the surface.

A winning combination

Decyl glucoside and the glycine-based ingredients condition the skin, but are also surfactant, cleansing substances that dissolve dirt and grease without irritating the skin or drying it out. Glycerine in turn has both a moisture retaining and protecting effect. Thanks to this list of ingredients, we can promise that smoothing exfoliator gently exfoliates, cleanses, moisturizes and conditions all skin types. The result is more even skin tone and texture – and a whole new glow.
